In January 2023 LMS was accredited with the ISO certification ISO 13739:2020- procedures for the transfer of bunkers to vessels. This standard covers the areas of providing Marine Gas Oil HS Fuel Oil and LS Fuel Oil Bunkering services. In addition to its standard bunkering procedure, this certification was also offered to LMS as its Health Safety and Environmental system has been assessed and registered as conforming with the requirements of ISO 13739: 2020

This specification specifies procedures and requirements for the transfer of bunkers to vessels involving bunker tankers, road tankers and shore pipelines. It is applicable to pre-delivery, delivery and post-delivery checks and documentation.

LMS is the first bunker supplier in Sri Lanka to be certified with ISO 13739:2020 and this achievement further demonstrates the of LMS as a bunker supplier, following the standard and safest procedures in delivering bunkers in Sri Lanka.
